ES000001
Your email was blocked by Comcast because the sending IP is identified as a dynamic/residential IP address. Typically, this means a misconfigured email client, but if this is a static IP address, you should contact whomever leased you the IP address and ask them to resolve the problem. They need to ensure it is not still listed as part of their dynamic space. This can be a laborious process, as most of the initial technicians you speak to will not be able to do this and might not be familiar with IP management. You should also ask them to enable a PTR record for the IP that should include your domain name, such as "email.domain.com".
RL000001
You would receive this bounceback if you are sending too much email too quickly to Comcast. The number of recipients per hour you can send is based on your Senderscore Reputation. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nDWZozFImgwAKzbOkwZYFdf_tts0i8Lv/view?usp=sharing
RL000002
Your IP's reputation is affecting the rate you can send email. This is often because your IP has just recently started sending mail to Comcast. You will want to 'warm up' the IP by sending smaller amounts of mail daily and slowly increasing it each day.
RL000003
Comcast has limited the amount of email that can be sent from this IP due to the previous volume and quality of messages from this IP. There does not seem to be any way to contest this with Comcast, but you could try their blocklist removal form.

5.7.1
Spam or virus
A 5.7.1 message indicates that something in the email was identified as dangerous and likely contains spam, a virus, or the sender is blocked. This error generally occurs for two reasons: 1. An individual PC is infected with malware and sending malicious messages. This tends to be characterized by getting several of these bounces for messages the user does not recognize as having sent. 2. An attachment was included that violated the recipient's email policies either by file type or by being encrypted. It does not necessarily mean the email server itself it blocked, but often, if the messages continue (i.e., the user has malware), then it will typically cause email problems to that recipient for the entire email server.

5.4.7
Delivery expired
A 5.4.7 message - Delivery expired (message too old) - is typically a message from your mail system, not the recipient's server. It is often related to a Cisco appliance. This error indicates the message sat in the outbound delivery queue for too long. Unfortunately, it does not provide a specific reason, but usually this means the recipient system would not accept the message. This can be for many different reasons. We recommend checking the following: 1. Look at the message subject and sender. Are they someone who would have sent this email? If it does not seem likely, you might have a spam outbreak on your hands, which is why the recipient system would not accept the message. Check your outbound mail queues to see if there are more messages queuing up and stop outbound email if it looks like a spam outbreak. 2. Check if any mail is going out at all. Test to a Gmail or other outside email address. 3. Run a blacklist check to see if your IP address is listed. 4. If you are at a loss, you can sign up for our Managed Services product, which provides an email delivery specialist who can help you setup DMARC and other technologies to help improve your email delivery.

DNS Soft Error
If you get a "DNS Soft Error" message, it indicates that somewhere there is a problem looking up the DNS record to delivery email. It could be on your end or the recipient's end. The first thing you will need to do is figure out whose problem it is: 1. Run an MX Lookup on the recipient domain. If the MX records return, their DNS is likely working. 2. Use the link on our results to run an SMTP test on each of the MX records returned. If the test succeeds, then there is a good chance the problem lies elsewhere or was a temporary issue. The next place to look is on your mail system. You should try an NSLookup or DIG on the MX record for the recipient domain. If that test fails, you have a DNS problem on your system. You could try flushing your DNS to see if that works. If the DNS test succeeds, you should probably try sending the message to see if it was a temporary issue.

Microsoft Office 365
5.7.350
This Microsoft Office 365 bounce message indicates that your message is spam. There can be many reasons for a message to be marked as spam and spam filters tend not to give detailed reasons as to why to prevent spammers from learning their techniques. However, there are some things that can help you try to identify the problem and improve your email delivery. You should ensure that you have DMARC enabled. A DMARC record involves enabled SPF and DKIM, which help improve your reputation with the recipient and encourage them to accept messages they may otherwise reject. No DMARC or a failure often increases the spam score. You can explore information on deploying DMARC below. You should also check our Spam Analyzer tool, which checks some common items that increase the spam score of a message.

432 4.3.2
STOREDRV.Deliver; recipient thread limit exceeded
Office 365: The recipient mailbox's ability to accept messages is being throttled because it's receiving too many messages too quickly. This is done so a single recipient's mail processing doesn't unfairly impact other recipients sharing the same mailbox database.
4.4.316
Connection refused
Office 365: Microsoft 365 or Office 365 is trying to send a message to an email server outside of Microsoft 365 or Office 365, but attempts to connect to it are failing due to a network connection issue at the external server's location.
4.4.7
Message expired
Office 365: The message in the queue has expired. The sending server tried to relay or deliver the message, but the action was not completed before the message expiration time occurred. This message can also indicate that a message header limit has been reached on a remote server, or some other protocol time-out occurred while communicating with the remote server.
4.5.3
Too many recipients
Office 365: The message has more than 200 SMTP envelope recipients from the same domain.
4.7.26
Access denied; this message is not signed
Office 365: The sending message sent over IPv6 must pass either SPF or DKIM.
4.7.500-699
Access denied, please try again later
Office 365: Suspicious activity has been detected and sending has been temporarily restricted for further evaluation.
4.7.850-899
Access denied, please try again later
Office 365: Suspicious activity has been detected on the IP in question, and it has been temporarily restricted while it is being further evaluated.
5.0.350
Generic error or x-dg-ref header is too long
Office 365: 5.0.350 is a generic catch-all error code for a wide variety of non-specific errors from the recipient's email organization. The specific x-dg-ref header is too long message is related to Rich Text formatted messages. For more information, see Fix email delivery issues for error code 550 5.0.350 in Exchange Online.
5.1.0
Sender denied
Office 365: A common cause of this NDR is when you use Microsoft Outlook to save an email message as a file, and then someone opened the message offline and replied to it. The message property only preserves the legacyExchangeDN attribute when Outlook delivers the message, and therefore the lookup could fail.
5.1.1
Bad destination mailbox address
Office 365: This failure might be caused by the following conditions:The recipient's email address was entered incorrectly by the sender. No recipient's exists in the destination email system. The recipient's mailbox has been moved and the Outlook recipient cache on the sender's computer has not updated. An invalid legacy domain name (DN) exists for the recipient's mailbox Active Directory Domain Service.
5.1.8
Access denied, bad outbound sender
Office 365: The account has been blocked for sending too much spam. Typically, this problem occurs because the account has been compromised (hacked) by phishing or malware.
5.1.10
Recipient not found
Office 365: The recipient's was not found by SMTP address lookup.
5.2.2
Submission quota exceeded
Office 365: The sender has exceeded the recipient rate limit or the message rate limit as described in Sending limits.
5.2.121
Recipient's per hour message receive limit from specific sender exceeded
Office 365: The sender has exceeded the maximum number of messages they're allowed to send per hour to a specific recipient in Exchange Online.
5.2.122
Recipient's per hour message receive limit exceeded
Office 365: The Microsoft 365 or Office 365 recipient has exceeded the number of messages they can receive per hour from all senders.
5.3.190
Journaling on-premises messages to Microsoft 365 or Office 365 not supported
Office 365: Journaling on-premises messages to Microsoft 365 or Office 365 isn't supported for this organization because they haven't turned on Journaling Archive in their settings.
5.4.1
Relay access denied
Office 365: The mail server that's generating the error doesn't accept mail for the recipient's domain. This error is generally caused by mail server or DNS misconfiguration.
5.4.6 or 5.4.14
Routing loop detected
Office 365: A configuration error has caused an email loop. 5.4.6 is generated by on-premises Exchange server (you'll see this code in hybrid environments). 5.4.14 is generated by Exchange Online.By default, after 20 iterations of an email loop, Exchange interrupts the loop and generates an NDR to the sender of the message.
5.4.300
Message expired
Office 365: The email took too long to be successfully delivered, either because the destination server never responded or the sent message generated an NDR error and that NDR could not be delivered to the original sender.
5.6.11
Invalid characters
Office 365: Your email program added invalid characters (bare line feed characters) into a message you sent.
5.7.1
Delivery not authorized

Office 365: The sending email system did not authenticate with the receiving email system. The receiving email system requires authentication before message submission.
5.7.12
Sender was not authenticated by organization
Office 365: The sender's message is rejected because the recipient address is set up to reject messages sent from outside of its organization. Only an email admin for the recipient's organization can change this.
5.7.23
The message was rejected because of Sender Policy Framework violation
Office 365: The destination email system uses SPF to validate inbound mail, and there's a problem with your SPF configuration.
5.7.57
Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM
Office 365: You configured an application or device to send (relay) email messages in Microsoft 365 or Office 365 using the smtp.office365.com endpoint, and there's a problem with the configuration of the application or device.
5.7.64

This is a tricky error to navigate because users can report messages as spam for any reason and often do not understand the effect that button has. You should ensure that any mailing list you are sending to is an "opt-in" list and that unsubscribing is easy. If you use a 3rd-party for sending email, it might not be your fault and other domains sending from the server are causing the problem. If it is your server, you will want to follow best practices to improve your delivery as much as possible.

UNSOLICITED MESSAGE
Verizon has rejected this message because the sending IP has sent too many messages. If this is a new IP, you should "warm-up" the IP by sending a small number of messages and increasing it slowly. Check any address(es) you are emailing to ensure that they are users who have opted-in to receive emails.

AUTHENTICATION FAILURE
Verizon Media has rejected your message because either it or other messages from your mail sever failed a DKIM check. Verizon says they will reject the message because of the following: - The signing domain publishes a policy which states that all emails from the domain must be signed and authenticated with DKIM to prevent forgery - The signing domain is identified in the "d=" tag of the DKIM signature - The rejected email could not be authenticated against the sending domain's policy, for example, due to a missing or bad signature If you have the headers (sometimes included in the bounceback), you can use our Header Analyzer tool for more information. If you are a listserv, then you want to make sure that the mailing list's address in the "From" and the "Reply-To" fields is the actual sender's address.
