MxToolBox Fully Managed Hosted Email services are powered by Zimbra, a linux-based open-sourced competitor to Microsoft Exchange owned by VMWare. It is a full messaging and collaboration suite which provide a secure, reliable, productive hosted email experience for you and your users.
As each message is delivered to the server, it's meta-data like Sender, Recipient, and Subject are stored into a database for super quick access.
The architecture allows mailboxes and mail servers to scale so very large mailboxes which would choke other systems are not a problem.

Continue working with Microsoft Outlook
The heart of our hosted mail platform, Zimbra has a rich yet intuitive AJAX powered web interface, but the server can also integrate with Microsoft Outlook so you can continue working using the same software you are used to. We provide a Zimbra connector package which adds an additional type of mailbox connection in Outlook and create a new profile for your new mailbox. Your original profile remains behind if you ever need to access it at a later date.

Our mail servers are located in an enterprise data center and operate on fault tolerant hardware with redundant and backup power sources. Connected by multiple internet access providers, your mailbox will be available when you need it. Our servers are kept up to date with the latest security patches and configured to be safe from any unauthorized access.
Migration
MxToolbox has patent pending technology which allows us to deliver mail to our hosted platform and your existing mailboxes simultaneously resulting in a smooth transition between services. This allows our clients to migrate individual users to their new mailboxes over time and creates the opportunity to run both services in parallel for a rollout period which can be used for training, data migration, and user adoption.
Spam and Virus Protection with Outbound Blacklist Management
MxToolBox has partnered with proven providers to offer spam and virus filtering using Enterprise grade technology.
Messages containing viruses, malware, trojans are blocked or sanitized keeping your workstations safe from malicious code.
Phishing attacks attempting to access your sensitive information are identified and blocked as well.
Messages that are identified as spam are held in an online quarantine so you can always check for any mistakenly flagged messages and you have
the ability to designate block and allow lists to ensure that messages are treated appropriately.
When you purchase hosting those services include our email protection which routes your outbound mail through our gateway and we'll take responsibility for getting it to the destination mail server. By doing so we eliminate the threat from blacklists being able to cause mail delivery interruptions and impacting your business.
