XPEWS is not a blacklist! It is an experimental informational only list published by Mailhost.org.
This list was added to our tool on 2013-10-18 and removed from the lookup tool on 2013-10-25 once we realized our mistake.
Please do not contact mailhost.org if you were listed on this list, you are not on a blacklist. Please do not use this list as a blacklist your you will lose mail.
XPEWS, like any *PEWS based system, lists very large chunks of address space. Unlike other *PEWS-style systems, XPEWS is not a blacklist per se. It is more of a hatcheck list, giving a response code of blackhat, whitehat or several possible shades of greyhat. Specifically in contrast to APEWS, in XPEWS smaller subnets do not always inherit the status of the larger CIDR
Mailhosts.Org Xpews Reports Subnets
Subnet-based Blacklists are used to reject email from entire ranges of IP Addresses, i.e. providers that are hosting companies sending spam, as well as single IP Addresses that may fall in that range of IP Address.
Mailhosts.Org Xpews Automatically Delists Entries
This blacklist does not offer any form of manual request to delist. Your IP Address will either automatically expire from listing after a given timeframe, or after time expires from the last receipt of spam into their spamtraps from your IP Address.
