If spam is getting past our filter system to your mailbox and you would like to submit it to our team for evaluation, please submit it with the mail headers to spamadmin@mxtoolbox.com.
Oftentimes the only way to diagnose exactly what happened to get a
specific message into your mailbox is to have you send us the entire
raw message. Outlook calls this the "Internet Headers" but other
programs call it "Original Source" or something similar. If we request
the headers from a message, here's how to send them to us using Outlook.
- Open the message from Outlook in a new window.
- On
this new window menu, go to View -> Options. If you do not see
options, you may have to reveal it by clicking on the two down arrows
at the bottom of the menu
- This will have brought up the Message
Options window. The last component of this is the Internet Headers.
Right-click inside the headers and choose "Select All", then
right-click again and choose Copy.
- Close the Message Options window.
- You
should now be looking at the message window. Click on forward and
address the message to support@mxtoolbox.com. In the area above the
copied part of the message, Paste the Internet Headers and click Send.
With
this level of information we can trace the message's path from the
sender all through our mail systems to determine exactly what happened
and help solve your problem.
