    Just FYI the MX lookup tool does not work for mx records for sub-domains. (eg subdomain.domain.com)

    Yes, we are aware of this limitation, our Production Engineers are working on code currently that will hopefully allow subdomains to be queried using the Free MX Lookup tool at http://mxtoolbox.com.
